This is going to be quite a long post.

Blistering cold, passionately hot. Is what most describes my mood now.

Not conflicting, but its very me to look at the bad side of good things and the good side of bad things.

I think it gives you a balanced view of things. That way, when you make any decisions, you are less prone to any kinds of mistakes.

Back to what had happened the last few days. It was all quite monotonous. Getting confined because of something lame is not what the average person who looks forward to every precious bookout expects. Fuck.

Actions without thoughts. Thoughts without reason. Pointless.

At least from -my- point of view.

Obviously, "they" abhor individualism. To put it clearly, individualism =/= selfishness. They are like 2 very different words, to a very large extent.

It may all seem perfectly ok, as everyone is used to it, but they do not want to hear your own true opinions. Nor do they want you to voice it out. It is shunned and being hostiled against not matter how right and logical is is. It is about as akin to saying your say could be rejected and discarded like outright trash.

For me and many of us who were brought up in this era, in this world, in this country,( we are educated and intelligent beings) this is preposterous. To the damn max.

It could be as bluntly put forwrads as they are simply not adhering to their own beliefs and protocols.

Why the irony? Why the mask that they wear? Why the obvious deception?
Blind, deaf, dumb... or perhaps all?
From the third perspective of unbiased view, what they put forward is very shallow and meaningless.

I believe in the saying "tough times dont last, tough men do".

But what they are trying to put forward, is it really an absolute necessity? I dont think so, hence bring my point to whence it started: why the false pretence?

Anyway, new topic.

Fear!

Why do we fear!

I feel fear is a mix of fascination, disgust and curiosity. (Which is why some people enjoy watching horror shows)

Anything not familiar transmitted to the fives senses could be 'defined' as 'abnormal' and 'hostile' to the human body. It is the body's form of protection mechanism.

Picture a scenario where you feel something suddenly coming from behind you. NOW! try to imagine...

At this point of time. you do not know the intentions of this unknown object.

It could be your friend who wants to tickle you, or a robber who wants to steal your money.

Initially, by only possibly your sense of touch and hearing, you will feel 'disturbed' and slightly fearful, until your body reacts(by turning around) to allow the other senses to further process the information to clarify/confirm the details of the thing/object.

Hahaha.

Reminder to myself: songs to download

郑伊健 - 甘心替代你 (古惑仔)
